Driving down the often-congested 405 Freeway in Los Angeles, you expect to see motorists using their flashers. More rare, however, is a flasher acting like a motorist.

Police in Los Angeles say they have detained a man who was photographed running naked alongside traffic on the 405 North on Tuesday morning.

The suspect -- clothed only in black socks -- jogged down the highway and tried to talk with drivers who slowed down.
