Ditch to perform at “Peace In The Street” concert at Sam Ash Music

Rapper Ditch will take his live performance to the “Peace In The Street” concert festival on Saturday May 19^th 2012. The event will feature many live acts and is a gathering to stop bullying which causes so many teenagers and young adults to commit suicide. The free concert event will take place at the music chain Sam Ash in Cerritos, California. El Presidente will also perform. Sam Ash Music is located at 12651 Artesia Blvd in Cerritos, California. This event is all ages and free to attend. Families are encouraged to bring their children to this event and learn about how they can put up with bullies and how they can help stop it.  Ditch Says: “Bullying in schools has got to stop; we need to put an end to all of this school violence. Children are in school to learn and that’s it, we need to stop the bickering and badgering of students. I myself was bullied in school a little, but I learned to put up with it and find my inner self. Then I learned to stand up for myself. I think everyone puts up with bullying at some point in their life. It is sad when any kid has to be afraid to go to school, or afraid of what may happen to them outside of class, these situations have only escalated since I have been out of school. School shootings, suicides, etc make me sick to my stomach; I will do whatever I can to help Peace In The Street”. The Peace in the street foundation provides our youth a creative outlet where they can focus on their career paths. They will learn the power of networking and the need to take education serious. They will also learn the need to respect teachers, parents and each other. The invisible wall that is put up by students, the click, the gang, the crew, the athlete and others use these walls to be in their comfort zone. They feel that letting students create from a positive platform can help ease some of the tension that can cause violence and bullying in schools. They are trying to put a dent in the dropout rate and become a buffer between schools and the court system. About 1 in 10 young male high school dropouts is in jail or juvenile detention.
